Bernardo Castañeda Fernández (Guadalajara, 1987) is an architect graduated from Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) officially certified in Autodesk Revit, he has participated in several national and international competitions and has taken several courses in painting and architecture, one at the National Academy School of Fine Arts in New York and one in Mexico on parametric architecture taught by David Jason Gerber from Gehry Partners.
One of his projects, "Integrity", was exhibited at the International exhibition, conference and workshop "Parametric prototypes: new computational paradigms in architecture" in Xi'an, China. Another one in Dubai, won honorable mention. He has international experience having worked with Arch. Miguel Alonso del Val Ah Associates in Pamplona, Spain. Currently working with Arch. Alberto Vidal Vidal Zuazua Architects, a company with over 10 years experience in architectural design of multifamily projects, house, office, industrial, educational, commercial, and others.
Recently, his love for nature and nutrition led him to make a certification in plant based nutrition from Cornell University and he is currently taking a course in building performance analysis from autodesk.
He is also taking another course in Permaculture wich is a sustainable design science based on observation of natural patterns.
